Programme of International Tour Film Festival 2019 (Civitavecchia, Italy)
The program is presented by the technical director of the festival Francesco Capuano (Italy)
Film Tourism has been revealed over the years as potential intermediary between peoples and cultures, alongside with artistic and tourism sectors. Beyond marketing strategies between associations and film productions, tourism is being promoted through audiovisual content in many aspects: as tourism destination for city, region, or country, sports and adventure tourism; religious tourism, promotion of cultural and traditional events. This programme presents the tourism short films screened during the last edition of International Tour Film Festival, which took place in the month of october in Civitavecchia (Rome, Italy ). Several countries around the world attended the competition including: Croatia, India, Italy, Japan, Pakistan, Portugal, Russia, Mozambique and Montenegro.
International Tour Film Festival was born in 2012 from an idea by Piero Pacchiarotti, President of Civita Film Commission. The festival is made thanks the collaboration among Municipality of Tolfa, Municipality of Civitavecchia, Ca.Ri.Civ. Foundation and Region of Lazio. The festival is currently among film festivals officially recognized by Region of Lazio. The last edition of International Tour Film Festival reached 3600 amongst short and feature films from 100 countries around the world.
The Festival wants to build a great opportunity to promote our city, located in the north of province of Rome. In these seven years of history and development, greatest personalities from Italian and worldwide cinema attended the festival, like Marco Müller, Jun Ichikawa, Laura Delli Colli (President of SNGCI) , Marius Bizau, Anthony Christov (production designer at Pixar Animation Studios), Luc Toutounghi (producer at Se.Ma.For Studios of Poland, twice Academy Awards Winner in Animation category), Olivier Chaterin (animation film producer), Roland Sejko (film director from Albania) and Gianluca Dentici (visual effects supervisor).

Francesco Capuano is a Technical Director at International Tour Film Festival in Civitavecchia (Rome). Born in Naples (Italy), he graduated from University of Naples Federico II in Conservation of Cultural Heritage with a dissertation in Cinema. He attended film editing courses and workshops between Naples and Rome and served as volunteer archivist at Media Library Santa Sofia in Naples. After graduation, he took part in the organization of several film festivals based in Italy. He took part as Jury Member at Red Rock Film Festival in Cedar City (USA) and People Of Passion International Film Festival in Melbourne (Australia). As member of preselection committee for short and feature films, he collaborated with italian and international film festivals like Scruffy City Film & Music Festival, Knoxville (USA) and Socially Relevant Film Festival New York (USA). Since 2016 works as Technical Director at International Tour Film Festival in Civitavecchia (Rome). On the behalf of International Tour Film Festival, he was relator of a workshop on film tourism at 15th MIFEC in Porto (Portugal).

Rabska Fjera – Medieval Summer Festival directed by Sanjin Badurina won the Best Tourism Film 2019 award at International Tour Film Festival.
