The international festival-workshop of film schools “Kinoproba” continues to accept applications for the festival 2020 – to be held from December 1 to 5 in Ekaterinburg in the usual offline format, as we hope.

We are receiving applications from participants from film schools, alumni and students from all over the world: Film and Television School of India, the Netherlands Film School, from Poland, Italy, Russia, from students of the Moscow School of New Cinema, the Alexander Mitta Studio School and many others.

The topics which young filmmakers who have already submitted their applications this year are diverse: the relationship between mother and daughter, ex-spouses, a story of a young violinist, a film adaptation of Jack London’s story, and many more.

Who can participate in the competition program?

Russian and international Film universities and professional film schools, which showcase the programs of their students; students and graduates of film universities and professional film schools 0f 2019-2020 from all over the world as well as debutants who have made their first short film.

The project is being implemented using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation provided by the Presidential Grants Foundation. Festival organizers: “D.K-Kinoklub”, Sverdlovsk regional organization of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, the Urals State Architectural University.
