Within 1995-2005 was an economist, producer, deputy director and filmmaker at the Sverdlovsk Film Studio, since 2000 is a producer and a filmmaker at the "Company of the 29th of February". Author of the films "David" (2000), "First on the Moon" (2005), "Shosho" (2006), "Railway", "Silent Souls" (2010) and others. Prize-winner of International and Russian fil award
Sergey Aynutdinov
Born in Moscow. Artt director of Creative association of animation films "Attraction" at the Sverdlovsk film studio. Participant of more than 200 International art exhibitions. Prize-winner of more than 30 International awards. He is also engaged in book illustrating, animation and video advertisment. Most of his artworks are now in USSR and RSFSR Union of Artist's collection, private collections and galleries in Russia and abroad. Sergey is a vivid representive of the Ural animation school. Birgit Beumers
Born in Aachen (Germany). Historian of cinema, editor of digital journal "CinemaCulture" and magazine "Researches of Russian and Soviet cinematography". Professor of Slavonic Studies in University of Bristol. Author of several books on history of Russian cinematography: PopCulture: Russia! (2005), History of Russian Cinema (2009) and others. Recently is engaged in study of Russian animation. Lives and work in Bristol.
Milena Klebanov
Born in Troitsk (Chelyabinsk region, Russia). Graduated from music and art schools, Bezalel Academy of Arts and Desing (Jerusalim) and the "Shar" School-Studio (Israel). Director and animator, author of the "Norwegain" lullaby from "World Lullabies" animation cycle. Lives and works in Tel Aviv.

Baden-Wuerttemberg Film Academy
Academy was founded in 1991/ Being one of the most famous international cinema schools, it is orientated to the students activity.
The curriculum provides different methods of film and TV production: screenwriting, fiction, documentary, publicity and science-fiction direction, cinematography, montage, animation, serial forms, TV programs, media, musical and sound mounting and others.
Academy of Art and Design "Bezalel"
The academy was founded in 1906 and became the most popular high art school in Israel. It is named in honor of Bezalel — the first master, mentioned in the Bible. The Academy provides painting, photo, video, applied art, design and architecture studies. Animation faculty was opened here in 1996. Bachelor program includes classes of classical, experimental and computer animation, multimedia art, design of computer games, history and animation theory. Senior of animation faculty becomes bachelor of arts.
University of Ljubljana, Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television
The Academy, which was established in 1945, is a theatre and film school within the University of Ljubjana. The teaching process at both undergraduate levels is tied to intensive artistic and reseach work, and is strongly based on individual instruction. Apart from developing practical skills and techniques, the Academy offers a wide range of academic knowledge. More than 400 actors, directors and dramaturgists graduated from the Academy sincse it opened its doors in 1945. Most of them today are at the creative centre of the Slovene perfoming and audio-visual arts.
Russian State Film Institute
VGIK is the oldest film school in the world, founded in 1919 by Russian filmmakers Vladimir Gardin and Lev Kueshov. SIncse 1986 the school is named after the famous director, actor and professor Sergey Gerasimov. Professors of VGIK are the eminent filmmakers of our time: A.V. Batalov, V.I. Yusipov, V.I. Ekaterinburg Art Collegue named after I. Shadr
The Collegue was founded in 1902 on the basis of the former art-industrial school of handicraft. One of the seniors of the Collegue was Ivan Shadr, famous Soviet sculptor. The course lasts two years (after three years of basic course). The major disciplines of the course are: art composition, multiplicate, history of cinematography. The developmen is led by the director and animator Sergey Ainutdinov.
High School of Scriptwriting and Directing
High school is the oldest educational institution for people with university education that gives professional qualification in such specialties as a screenwriter, director of fiction and documentary films, animation director and producer. The first admission took place in 1963.

New York University Tisch School of the Arts
The School of the Arts at New York University was founded in 1965. The School quickly established itself as one of the leading arts school in the country, creating additional departments of dance, theatre design and lighting, and cinema studies within a few short years. The undergraduated Department of Drama was founded in 1974. The esteblishment of the Interactive Telecommunications Program (1979), the Department of Dramatic Writing (1980), the Department of Perfomance Studies (1980). In recent years the Tisch School of the Arts has seen the esteblishment of the Deaprtment of Art and Public Policy (1999) and the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music (2003). Today, the Tisch Cshool of the Arts enrolls 3200 students in 14 programs and departments.
The First National School of Television
The state high school graduated professinals in television and advertizing. The training program is focused on gaining knowledge and practical skills.
Creation of new TV programs and full-length films is dialy on in the educational center of the school. During the training program, students are available to try to engage with different TV-projects. The works of students and graduates of the school go daily on the air.
For their graduation, future seniors of the school may take a chance on internships in the USA, Germany or Israel
The Russian Federation State Vocational Pedagogical University
Department of Film and Television was founded at the Institute of Arts of Russian State Professional Pedagogical University in 2005. This year is when the Faculty has its first graduates. Admission procedure is now available for the following specialities: producer of film and TV, sound man, cameraman
Such partners of the Faculty as the Ural Branch of the Union of Cinematographaphers of Russia, leading film companies and TV channels of Ekaterinburg and other partners provide an opportunity of practical training for the students. During studies, students fuilded by their tutors make their own films, prepare programs for the University's TV, participate in National and International festivals and competitions. Study studio of the Faculty is a modern complex of professional equipment for film and TV program making.
The first Student Festival "Kino-Kross", where students of the University were able to present their films and photo works, took place in 2009. The festival will take place each year and any Russian student can take part in it from now on.
Saint-Petersburg State University of Film and Television
SPbSUFT is the only state university in Russia that specializes in training engineering, economic and creative personnel for cinematography and allied industries. Since its establoshment in 1918, the university has been continually envolving: new faculties were opened, new creative specialities were introdused. While existing, the university has trained about 26 thousand highly professional experts of science and technology in cinema and cinematography. At the moment, more than 4500 people are enrolled in the university. Today SPbSUFT is an all-Russia university. And not because its branches are located throughout Russia. And not even because it is an educational institution targeted to work with regional staff. University of film and television was founder of a new film school — Saint-Petersburg's school.
Tel Aviv University (TAU)
One of the largest universities of Israel was founded in 1956. It is presented by nine departments, including Faculty of Arts named after Katz. Its directions of study are history of arts, architecture, music, cinematography, television and theater.
Shar School-Studio
School-studio "Shar" was founded in 1993 by leading filmmakers-animators Fedor Hitruk, Eduard Nazarov, Yriy Norshtein, Andrey Hrzhanovskiy and supported by Russian Goskino. Studio focuses on production of children films as well as "authors" films. During its work "Shar" has trained directors of animation who created films wich were widely recognized not only in Russia but also abroad. Films made in the studio take part in Russian and International festivals, and the nominated for the prestigious awards. At the 13th international fim festival in Zagreb school-studio was awarded a special prize as the best animation studio in 1998, and in 2006 at the international festival "KROK" recieved the prize "for the best film school program" ("Mysterious lantern-3")
The Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts
The Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts is one of the leading higher educational institution in Russia. The program of greaphic design at the Academy was founded in 2003 by Elena Pavlovskaya (PhD, art history). The teaching strategy includes the methods developing by the renowned masters of the Bauhaus and VHUTEMAS schools, as well as in such modern educational institutes as Domus-Academy. The faculty of the program develops its own individual methods of teaching in accordance with the new technologies of broadcasting information and visualization.
In 2004 a new specialization was established — an artist of classical and computer animation. The program lasts for 6 years. Besides traditional disiplines (painting, drawing, anatomy) students also study history, theory and practice of animation. The heads of the department are well known directors Oksana Cherkasova and Aleksey Karaev.
