The Festival format is unique: it is not just a festival-competition, holiday but a workshop as well. Different international school programs that represent their activities are invited to the Festival. A master and a student from each school participant come to speak about their own film production technical and art features.

The four days Festival program is extremely intensive. It ranges from master-classes which are focused mainly on a professional audience to rare information programs for everyone who appreciates cinema.

Within three years only animation films took part in the competition of the Festival. Since 2007 the Festival expends its borders and includes short feature as well, since 2008 – documentary.

By the experience of the previous years it is possible to say that the Festival successfully realizes the task of general public attention attraction to the professional work in the sphere of cinema. However the greatest value Festival gains in the cinema and pedagogical environment, supporting the creative work of directors beginners, promoting an establishment and development of relations among film schools, teachers and recognized masters of cinema, giving an opportunity of an experience exchange.
